US-based luxury car dealership is now accepting cryptocurrency as payments for Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Bugatti purchases.

Businessman Tilman Fertitta announced on his official Twitter account that his luxury automobile retailer Post Oak Motor Cars is taking in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash as payments.

For those unfamiliar, Fertitta is a wide array of business interests under his namesake company, Fertitta Entertainment. He owns restaurant giant Landry’s, Inc., Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos in Las Vegas and NBA Houston Rockets, among others.

His dealership Post Oak Motor Cars sells Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Bugatti.

In a statement, Fertitta claimed Post Oak Motor Cars is the first dealership in the US to accept crypto payments.

Payments are accepted through BitPay, a global bitcoin payment service provider based in Georgia, so anyone from anywhere in the world can purchase luxury cars the dealership offers.

BitPay Chief Commercial Officer Sonny Singh said they’ve noticed some people make large purchases using bitcoin because “it is a simple way to make payments.”

“This partnership is timely with the increasing popularity of Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Bugatti vehicles. Post Oak Motors has a great reputation of selling the finest cars and we are thrilled to be partnering with Tilman,” he said.
