The world’s premiere cryptocurrency has breached the $7,100 territory on Wednesday after being stagnant below the $6,800 for weeks, which also bolstered the performance of the entire market.

Traders noted that the exceptional performance of Bitcoin was surprisingly not slowed down by the Securities and Exchange Commission’s decision to reject several ETF proposals last week.

As of this writing, the price of Bitcoin is at $7,121.68 a piece with a market cap of $122 billion; up by 2.38 percent.

Meanwhile, Ehereum reached $294.96 a piece and a market cap of $30 billion; a 3.38 percent uptick.

Likewise, other top altcoins also enjoyed the upswing in the market. XRP is at $0.35; Bitcoin Cash is at $565.70; EOS is at $6.20; and Stellar is at $0.23.

On the other hand, Litecoin, Tether, Cardano and IOTA were at $62.96, $0.9972, $0.1053, and $0.79, respectively.
