Ethereum (ETH) is the biggest gainer among the top 10 valuable cryptocurrencies as the market rebounded to around $200 billion in market capitalization in Friday trades.

It was a generally positive day for digital tokens as the cryptocurrency market rose from $186 billion to around $200 billion in the past 48 hours.

Bitcoin (BTC) was steady at $6,400 level on Friday. As of this writing, the legacy coin was up 0.64 percent to $6,478.39.

But from rising from the slump is ETH. In the past 48 hours, the second most valuable token soared by around 20 percent.

From a low of $170.26 on Wednesday, ETH is now trading at $206.83, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Among the top 10 tokens, Stellar (XLM) and Cardano (ADA) were down. XLM was down 2.11 percent to $0.201100 and ADA declined 1.39 percent to $0.066325.

This week, the cryptocurrencies have suffered from a market sell off amid negative developments such as uncertainty about Goldman Sachs’ cryptocurrency trading desk, regulatory pressures in the US, to a mass sell-off sparked by students needing cash as they head back to university.
