Top digital currency for payments Dash has closed four new business partnerships, Dash Core CEO Ryan Taylor announced during the Bitcoin Conference leg in Miami.

Dash said it teamed up with cryptocurrency payments processor Go Coin, with leading advertising tech firm Strike Social, mobile recharge provider Piiko and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

The integration with Go Coin will roll out Dash to all merchants.

Go Coin provides an alternative to credit card processing by offering merchants the ability to accept new and exciting digital currencies like Bitcoin.

It serves 500 merchants and processes 5 million transactions. Among the prominent users include CheapAir, Lionsgate, and RE/MAX.

Dash has also integrated with Strike Social, the world’s largest Youtube ad optimization firm, and Piiko, a company providing mobile phone top-up service, to allow the use of the cryptocurrency in payments.

With Strike Social, around 500 ad agencies and brands can pay using Dash. Meanwhile, its link up with Piiko allows it to be used in transactions involving 600 mobile network operators in 137 countries.

Following the partnership, Piiko has also suspended Bitcoin payments until further notice.

Also during the Miami Bitcoin conference, Taylor said Dash has partnered with NREL to settle peer-to-peer energy transactions on Dash blockchain.

Funded through the United States Department of Energy, it is the only federal laboratory dedicated to research, development, commercialization, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies in its Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF).
